Big news: on 1 October 2026, we submitted our very first solidarity project! And the best part? It wasn’t written by us, but by young people from our U-GROW initiative.

Their story started with travel and learning. Over time, these young people took part in various projects, both in Lithuania and abroad, where they met new people, discovered new perspectives, and saw how powerful it can be when people from different backgrounds come together. They came back inspired, with one clear wish: to do something meaningful right here, in Vilnius.

So they decided to turn that inspiration into action. Combining their talents, interests, and energy, they designed a project built around solidarity values. At its heart is a simple but important belief: differences should be a source of curiosity, not a reason for hate. In a time when polarization seems to be growing, they want to bring people together and show that connection is stronger than division.

We won’t reveal too much just yet, but we can promise one thing: if the project is approved, Vilnius can look forward to some great community moments.

We’re incredibly proud of this group for taking the leap from participants to project creators. Now we keep our fingers crossed and wait for the results. Stay tuned!
