Who Run The World?
Workshop - 26 September 2026
Who has power, and where does it come from? Is it something we hold, something we give away, or something we share? On 26 September 2026, we came together to explore these questions in our workshop about power.
We started by looking at what power actually means and how differently each of us understands it. For some, power is about control and authority. For others, it’s about influence, confidence, or the ability to make change. As it turned out, there’s no single answer, and that’s exactly what made the conversation so interesting.
To bring the discussion to life, we used games from the Theatre of the Oppressed, a method developed by Brazilian theatre director Augusto Boal. These games help us notice how power shows up in our everyday lives: in relationships, at school, at work, and in society. Sometimes we only realize how power works when we feel it with our own bodies.
We left with more questions than answers, which is often the best sign of a good discussion. Thanks to everyone who joined and shared their thoughts!
